My name is Erin Nauta.

I am a long time photo enthusiast, mother of four, former medical coder, and photographer. I LOVE black licorice, playing the piano, art, and being home alone.

 

The first time I dreamt of photography was as a teenager on a family vacation to

a beautiful lake in New Jersey. I got that old digital camera out and just fell in love! Since then I have become a mother and realized how important it was to have naturally beautiful photos of my children. Fast forward 15 years, photoshop classes photography classes, lots of tutorials, countless hours behind my camera,

and here we are!

One of the reasons I LOVE photography is all the new people I get to meet. The challenge of making others feel comfortable around me in the smallest time possible is one of my favorite tasks. Each session I get to befriend all sorts of

new faces that allow me to see the good in our community. 

 

I especially love working with those grumpy people! If you have, or ARE the grumpy family member, I bet I can get a smile and laugh by the end of the session.  Challenge accepted!!!
